The Word Association was set up in 2009 by author, writer, producer, Nick Russell-Pavier. Our editors' aim is to provide the kind of objective feedback that writers crave, with honesty, integrity and insight.

Nick Russell-Pavier

Nick Russell-PavierNick Russell-Pavier has been making award winning radio and television programmes, writing and editing for over twenty years. Over that time he has worked with many eminent writers including Dennis Potter, Alan Bennett, Peter Ackroyd, John le Carre and John Pilger. He has worked on dramatisations and abridgements of many of the great novels in classic and contemporary literature by authors such as Robert Harris, Vikram Seth, Margaret Atwood, William TreNick Russell-Pavier - Journey Into Spacevor, Rose Tremain, Stephen King, Ian McEwan, E. M. Forster, Truman Capote, Agatha Christie, Charles Dickens, Gustave Flaubert, Honoré de Balzac, et al. Nick’s extensive track record gives him valuable insight and instincts as an editor of written material of all kinds.

Nick’s books include an acclaimed account of the 1963 Great Train Robbery published by Weidenfeld & Nicolson in 2013 and The Shepherd's Bush Murders, published by Century/Random House in 2016.
